About Us

Good Earth has been built upon environmentally responsible pest management, emphasizing honesty & integrity.

Our adventure started when Rich and Rene Kesecker decided to better their lives. They wanted to leave behind the big-city hustle and find a place more conducive to raising a family. With no clear path in place, Rich and Rene quit their jobs, loaded up their three young kids, and rolled the dice. Rich famously said “I don’t care what it takes, even if I have to open up Rich’s Video Store/Pest Control, I will make it work.” They relocated to Corvallis, where they still live today.

The Keseckers grew Good Earth Pest Company while working nights and weekends at supplementary jobs. Good Earth was built upon environmentally responsible pest management with emphasis upon honesty and integrity. It wasn’t long before Rich and Rene quit their other jobs and focused solely on their venture. Over the ensuing years, they grew the company into the industry leader and job supplier that it is today. Now, two of Rich and Rene’s sons, as well as some extended family members, play important roles in the daily operations. Good Earth has become a family business built to supply high-quality service and careers to the community. The Keseckers’ story is a shining example of what can be accomplished through hard work and focus. We are proud of our humble beginning and we move forward towards a bright future.

Good Earth Pest Company has met the high standards required by the National Pest Management Association to be certified Quality Pro. This mark of excellence has been met by only a small percentage of pest management companies. We continually invest in our team of professionals through education that surpasses state requirements. And it shows. When you meet a Good Earth team member, you are not meeting a salesperson; you are in fact in the company of a highly qualified professional. We do not sell services, we earn clients.

That is the Good Earth story. Thank you for reading!

The technicians do a great job. Knocks to make sure we are here and dogs are safe before he does the job. Very professional.
